The TDPS New Play Workshop is an opportunity to develop a short play in a supportive environment. These five playwrights have been selected to participate in the workshop--each will be assigned a mentor who is a professional dramatist living and working in the Baltimore-DC corridor. Mentors will serve as guides through the process of rehearsing with a director and actors, filtering and implementing feedback, and revising.
The weeklong event will kick off on Monday, March 5, 2018, with a professional panel on new play development, and will conclude on Sunday, March 11, 2018, with staged readings of the new plays.
