PhD student Emily Warheit has received the first ever James F. Harris Visionary scholarship.
PhD candidate, Emily Warheit's research is focused on applied theatre, meaning theatre that is used as a tool for education, therapy, community building, or other avenues of social change. Her planned dissertation will be an investigation of the use of theatre to advance development goals in East Africa, both by local non-governmental organizations and international institutions.To read more of Emily's vision which she submitted to the College of Arts & Humanities, from which she received the James F.
