Mitchell Hébert, recipient of 2014 Outstanding Director, Resident Play, is co-host for 2015 Helen Hayes Awards

As we await the release of the 2015 Helen Hayes nominees, Mitchell Hébert has already received his Helen Hayes honor!.
Professor Mitchell Hébert received The 2014 Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Director, Resident Play for Glengarry Glen Ross at Round House Theatre. And the 2012 Helen Hayes/The Robert Prosky Award for Outstanding Lead Actor, Resident Play for “Quentin” in After the Fall at Theatre J.
Professor Hébert will be one of the 6 co-hosts for this year's Helen Hayes award ceremony. One of the country’s most prestigious cultural honors, since 1985 the Helen Hayes Awards has celebrated outstanding achievement in over 90 professional theatres throughout the Washington metropolitan area. Named for the legendary First Lady of the American Theatre, nominated artists and companies exemplify the excellence found on all Washington stages, and therefore propel Washington as a nationally and internationally recognized theatre town.
