Marketing and Communications Coordinator position is open again.
Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

The Coordinator of Marketing and Communications in the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies will research, create, and organize content for the School website, recruitment, and marketing materials for the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies by conducting interviews, and attending and documenting School events and productions. The person in this position will meet regularly with School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies’ faculty and Director, the marketing personnel from the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, the College of Arts & Humanities, and the University of Maryland to communicate the School’s priorities. The position will report to the Director of the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies.

Minimum Qualifications: |
• Bachelor’s degree. • Minimum of 3-years’ experience in communications, marketing or public relations. • Experience must include work with web sites and social media. • Candidates must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Candidate must demonstrate ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment.

Preferences: |
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations. • Experience in marketing and/or communications in a performing arts organization. • Experience with the Drupal content management system.
