TDPS PhD candidate Khalid Long will give a talk entitled "The Ground On Which He Stood - August Wilson and the Search for Black Identity" about playwright August Wilson and his Pittsburgh Cycle at the Festival of the Arts in Columbia, MD in 2016.
TDPS PhD candidate Khalid Long will give a talk entitled "The Ground On Which He Stood - August Wilson and the Search for Black Identity," about playwright August Wilson and his Pittsburgh Cycle (also known as the Century Cycle), and his impact on African American cultural production. The talk will take place at the Festival of the Arts in Columbia, MD in 2016.
